KBC –> now in ATL!

September 25, 2008

It took a lot of hard work.  It took a lot of prayer.  It took a lot of meetings with principals, school boards, parents, children’s ministers, and volunteers.  We knew it would happen…eventually.  We knew God would open the door.

I could not be more proud of my wife.  Yes, I’m bragging.  (Yes, I’m also earning brownie points.)  She had ups and downs on this path to getting Kid’s Beach Club started in Georgia.  But today’s reality is that a club started on Tuesday of this week.  And 2 more are starting next Friday.  That means the Gospel was shared with kids on Tuesday in an elementary school.  That means the Bible was openend and praise songs were heard.  And going by stats from this ministry, about 50% of the kids that will attend have ZERO church affiliation.  That’s what KBC is all about – sharing God’s love with these kids and connecting them and their families to a local church.

Congrats KBC.  Congrats Dana.  Let’s pray this spreads like wildfire throughout North Georgia and dozens of clubs are kicking by next summer and hundreds of lives are changed eternally!
